Welcome to the Eagle Fire Department website.

The Eagle Fire Department is one of the largest local fire agencies in the state of Idaho made up of 55 career and 70 volunteer firefighters. Eagle is a beautiful community just outside of Boise covering nearly 65 square miles with a population of approximately 25,000. From structure and wildland fires to swift water rescues, medical responses to vehicle crashes, our experienced crews respond to and manage a variety of emergencies each day. We also work closely with business owners, schools and community groups to educate people about fire dangers and safety skills – giving them the tools needed to reduce the risk of fires and other dangers that threaten lives and property.

Members of this department are proud to be part of the Eagle community and are committed to keeping families here safe. We are a progressive agency using the latest training and technology along with strong partnerships with other local, state and federal agencies to continually improve our skills and provide the highest level of service.
